We are delighted to share with you our latest initiative for our employees. Starting this month (October) we began our Toolbox Talks Supplier Sessions with our extended DCC team. The aim is to help all our employees develop their knowledge so they can grow in their roles here at DCC and provide a first-class service to our clients.
Involved in this session were individuals across a variety of departments; customer services, account management, warehouse, purchasing, operations, finance, IT and more!
We hope this will not only help our staff understand more about the products we sell, but it will also help improve their service to you as clients.
Each month we organise a supplier to visit us here at DCC HQ to train our employees on a selection of products and also tell them more about the supplier and their USPs. In addition to this, the supplier provides a brief overview of PPE standards and regulations. The session lasts around 1 hour with a light breakfast, because who doesn't like a doughnut or a Danish.
Lisa and Trevor from JSP Safety were the first suppliers to kick off our new training sessions and the event went down a treat. They presented a range of above the neck PPE in a show and tell format. Our team got to see, touch and use a variety of their products that we provide through our contracts here at DCC. As well as this JSP went into great detail regarding the Force 8 respiratory mask. The team were taught how to use the measuring device and how to check the fit of the Force 8. It was great to see the team getting hands on with one of the top selling JSP products. The session ended with a fun quiz with the prizes going to, Kelly (Internal Account Manager) and Gurpreet (Warehouse Section Leader).
