Our team took the lead on the project, working closely with them and key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive, personalised solution:
- Personalised role identification: We introduced a colour-coded vest system, enabling instant role identification on-site. For example, yellow and green designate First Aiders, while yellow and black signify managers. This simple yet effective system brought clarity and improved communication across the workforce.
- Inventive design streamlining: We reduced the number of vest designs from 46 to just 14 by implementing standardised trims and simplifying design features. This streamlined approach not only improved efficiency but also reduced complexity and cost.
- Collaborative partnership: Working in partnership with their previous supplier and design team, Orbit, we presented design boards and actively solicited feedback, ensuring a collaborative design process that ultimately yielded big results.
