Here at DCC we are proud to be able to sponsor the Railway Mission’s chaplaincy teams with some new high-visibility vests as part of our commitment to supporting safety and well-being within the railway industry.
In an industry as essential and demanding as rail, where the well-being of staff is paramount, Railway Mission chaplains offer crucial support to railway workers across the UK, from depot teams to engineering staff.
As dedicated responders, the chaplains are often called to provide comfort and assistance during times of difficulty, and their presence has become an invaluable part of the railway community. Ensuring these chaplains are safely equipped with industry-compliant high-visibility vests enhances their ability to work in challenging environments while supporting staff across the network.
When handing over the vests at Birmingham New Street station this week our Managing Director Andrew Richards commented:

We are proud to contribute to the chaplains’ mission of support, particularly knowing they provide vital assistance in times of need.”
